Mom’s Tropical Salad Romaine Lettuce
Ingredients
- Romaine Lettuce
- Rucola
- Celery Stalk
- Purple onion cut in julienne
- Diced mango
- Diced avocado
- Peanuts
Method
- Wash lettuce and rucola really well preferably with vegetable wash.
- Cut lettuce into pieces with your hands so it doesn’t rust.
- Take moisture out from both rucola and lettuce to keep them crisp.
- Cut the celery stalk in little pieces.
- Add to the lettuce and the rucola with the onion, the mango and the diced avocado.
- Add peanuts on top.
Dressing
- Balsamic Vinegar
- Balsamic Vinegar glazed
- Olive Oil
- Sesame Oil
- Honey
- 1/2 lemon juice
- 1 crushed garlic clove
- Toasted Sesame Seeds
