Not your Typical Hummus
Black Bean Hummus
Ingredients
1 cup cooked black beans
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 garlic clove, minced
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/4 cup roasted red pepper
1/4 cup water (or as needed)
1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Pinch of tahini
Pinch of ground cinnamon
Sea salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Method
Place all ingredients in a high power blender or food processor and pulse to combine
Drizzle the water to reach better consistency.
Drizzle in the olive oil.
Season to taste with black pepper and salt
Serve and enjoy!
