Mom’s Tropical Salad
 Romaine Lettuce

Ingredients

  • Romaine Lettuce
  • Rucola
  • Celery Stalk
  • Purple onion cut in julienne
  • Diced mango
  • Diced avocado
  • Peanuts

Method

  • Wash lettuce and rucola really well preferably with vegetable wash.
  • Cut lettuce into pieces with your hands so it doesn’t rust.
  • Take moisture out from both rucola and lettuce to keep them crisp.
  • Cut the celery stalk in little pieces.
  • Add to the lettuce and the rucola with the onion, the mango and the diced avocado.
  • Add peanuts on top.

Dressing

  • Balsamic Vinegar
  • Balsamic Vinegar glazed
  • Olive Oil
  • Sesame Oil
  • Honey
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • Toasted Sesame Seeds
